Bosch Common-Rail (CR) System

BOSCH CR SYSTEM

Bosch is intruduced the first common rail system in 1997.The system gets its name from the common high pressure housing (common rail)part of its own which supplies fuel to all cylinders. In the classical diesel injection systems, the fuel pressure has to be produced seperately for each injection. But,in the common rail system the pressure production and the injection is seperated, it means, the necessary fuel for injection must be always on the required pressure.
The common rail system has a modular design. Each system consists of a high pressure pomp, injections, a common injection line and an electronic control unit.

The Operating mode:

In classical diesel injection systems, the fuel pressure has to be produced seperately for each injection. But, in common rail the pressure production and the injection is seperated, it means, the necessary fuel for injection must be always on the required pressure. The pressure production is occured in high pressure pump. The pump compresses the fuel and transfer it to a line by the help of a high pressure tube. This line works for as a common high pressure housing for all injections, so its name becomes a'' common rail'' party line. The fuel is distrubuted from here to the distinct injections, and these injections inject fuel to the cylinder combustion tank.

The Wide Solution Range:

Bosch presents a common injection systems from micro vehicles up to the luxury limousines for all vehicle models. The high pressure pump works out between 1,100 and 2,200 bar pressures. There is also a systems of an independent pumps(plug- and- play pumps). The injections use selenoid valve or Piezo technology.

The advantages:

*It has got extremely short range, and because of having multi- injections, it provides fresh, high efficiency fuel injections.
*Run properly with high motor power, low consumption and  emissions.
*It can be used for all vehicle models as because its modular design.
